Healing Individuals
IWe offer support to Indigenous people that work within Western health care systems of the North. We recognize that these individuals have specific healing needs and require ongoing support to live and work in the complexities of these worlds.
Our unique healing containers help Indigenous health care workers reconnect to an aligned sense of self and then work to restore balance in mind, body, spirit, and community. Our work is nurse-led and Indigenous-led; we integrate modalities and tools that are evidence-based, align with Indigenous worldviews, and are also tailored to the unique individual.
1
Initial Holistic Nursing Assessment
Your first step in understanding your health and wellness. This comprehensive in-person assessment explores your physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, while considering your personal context and goals. It provides a foundation for a care plan that supports lasting balance and reconnection.
2
Creation of Care Plan
Together, we develop a plan that blends evidence-based nursing practices with Indigenous approaches to wellness. This may include lifestyle adjustments, stress management techniques, or connection to community resources — all tailored to your goals and pace.
3
Ongoing Health and Wellness Support
Ongoing guidance and check-ins designed around your needs — from brief wellness check-ins to more in-depth care coordination in the health system. We provide practical strategies, support for self-care, and encouragement to integrate mind, body, spirit, and community wellness into everyday life.
